How can we pray for you?

Prayer is talking with God and listening to him. God so desires for us to communicate with Him about our lives, our needs, and our desires as well as praise him for who He is. Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church is committed to prayer being at the heart of our ministry. You're invited to submit prayer requests below. Once you submit your request, we will pass it along to the prayer partners who pray regularly for those in need.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

You are invited to join a lively group of expert and novice knitters and crocheters as we create prayer shawls and learn more about this innovative ministry. Completed prayer shawls are given to those who are grieving or have special needs so that as they wrap up in a shawl, the prayers of the ministry will surround the recipient. This ministry meets at the Fairpoint Campus on the first and on the third Sunday evenings of each month in room 12 at 5:00 p.m.and at the Soundside Campus on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm in the prayer room. Prayer Beeper Ministry

Prayer Beeper for anyone in need of Prayer. Are you or a loved one going through a crisis, medical treatments, feeling low or depressed and feel there is little hope and just need to know someone cares? Please consider a prayer beeper which is one of the ministries of GBUMC (you don't have to be a member to obtain a beeper).

This is how it works: Your name (or if you want to remain anonymous that's okay) and prayer beeper number will be published in the weekly bulletin as well as our newsletters. Anyone led by God's Spirit to pray for you will call your beeper number....your beeper will vibrate (beep) letting you know someone has just prayed for you. The power of prayer is tremendous... we know that you will feel His presence and feel His power.

Here are a few comments from some beeper recipients: "When my beeper goes off, I feel like I'm surrounded by God's angels." "When I'm facing a hard decision or going through a difficult situation, my beeper goes off and a "calm" comes over me as I feel the power of the Holy Spirit giving me hope. It's a feeling like no other." "I was losing my will to continue, the prayer beeper has given me new hope and a renewed spirit."

Be A Prayer Warrior

Pray for the Prayer Beeper Recipients You can be part of GBUMC Prayer Beeper Ministry by praying and calling the numbers listed in the weekly bulletin and newsletters. As the Spirit of God prompts you, first pray for the individual, then call their prayer beeper number, wait for the beep, then enter 1111 and hang up. The recipient receives the beep and knows they are being prayed for at that moment. So many recipients have been truly blessed by this ministry, but it's up to our GBUMC family to dedicate themselves to pray for those individuals and make the call. GBUMC and the prayer beeper recipients thank you for your faithfulness.

The Women’s Prayer and Praise Group

Second and Fourth Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 am, Soundside Campus

We invite all women of the church and their friends to join us as we raise praises and prayers to God. Our regular meetings are the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, no books are required. At this time we are unable to provide childcare. For more information please contact Beth at 934-2676.
