Angel Food Ministries

HISTORY: Angel Food Ministries started in 1994 in Monroe, GA. Pastors Joe and Linda Wingo began by distributing food to 34 families who had been affected by the closings of local industrial plants. Over the years other churches became involved and today Angel Food Ministries feeds over 500,000 families a month in 35 states.
ABOUT THE FOOD: The menu is different each month but always includes, fresh, frozen and packaged meats, vegetables, and fruits. The food is purchased from top food suppliers at substantial volume discounts. It is fresh, name brand food, never out of date or seconds.
THE COST: The cost of each box of food is $30 and requires no applications or qualifications to purchase. "Specialty Boxes" of steak, chicken, pork or other foods are also available. For seniors and people on the go there are ten fully cooked meals to just heat and serve for only $28.
