Taking Our Time

I want to thank all of you for the many comments of encouragement and appreciation that I have received.  Apparently, "The Source" is meeting a need for people to go deeper, understand more, and draw closer to God.  We certainly aren't rushing our way through the Bible.  We've just completed our fifth week and we have really only talked about Genesis Chapters 1 and 2.  This coming Sunday (February 14, 2010) we will delve into Chapter 3 and look closely at the temptation of Adam and Eve.  What strategies did the serpent employ and what we can learn about ourselves and our relationship to God as a result of what is commonly referred to as "The Fall".  I'm having a blast!  As always, please feel free to make any comments or ask questions through this medium.  I check it regularly.  Blessings!

I asked week before last about "Ezer Kenegdo". You mentioned in Genesis that Eve was the ezer kenegdo for Adam and all other times its mentioned in the Bible, it is shown in the form of God being the ezer kenegdo. Did i understand correctly? I've noted how many women try to fix the men in their lives (and most do so for the betterment of the man.) I've noticed God has spoken through many different women in my life and has been in essence an ezer kenegdo through them. I've also seen it coming through in men in the form of the Holy Spirit speaking through them. Have you seen the same and is there any deeper connections?

Sincerely,
Jeff Jeffers
