Sue Gabel
I just returned from conducting the grave side services for Sue Gabel and once again I can feel the tug of emotions. Sue was such a beautiful lady with the sweetest spirit and a heart for serving. She was a regular at our home every Wednesday for two years as a member of our small group and always asked the greatest questions with great insight Every weekend you could find her helping with refreshments at the CLC and you could count on her being in the kitchen peeling potatoes every Tuesday afternoon in preparation for Cafe 98. I am so sorry that she is gone. Yet, I rejoice because her faith in Jesus Christ was unwavering and she is living the promise that Christ made to her. What a privilege it was to participate in the candlelight service for her last Thursday and to pray with her familty as she passed on this past Sunday.
